The Move Tool and Crop Tool are usually the easiest because they are straightforward and give immediate visual results. The Brush Tool is also beginner-friendly since it works similarly to drawing in real life. The Text Tool is fairly simple but can become slightly harder when adjusting fonts and spacing. The Layer Panel can feel confusing at first because understanding how layers stack takes practice. The Layer Masks shown in the video are typically one of the harder concepts because they require understanding non-destructive editing.

The Marquee Tool is one of the easiest tools shown since it just creates basic square or circular selections. The Quick Selection Tool is also fairly easy because it automatically detects edges. The Lasso Tool can be a little harder since it requires steady hand control. The Refine Edge/Select and Mask feature is more advanced and may be challenging at first. Understanding blending modes and layer adjustments in this video can also feel harder because they require experimentation to fully understand.

The Eyedropper Tool is very easy because it simply samples colors. The Zoom Tool and Hand Tool are also simple since they just help you navigate the canvas. The Clone Stamp Tool is harder because it requires precision and understanding of sampling points. The Pen Tool is often one of the hardest tools shown because it involves creating anchor points and curves.

Adjustment tools like Levels and Curves can also be difficult at first because they require understanding how light and contrast work.

My name is Mia Matteo, I am a freshman. I am from a small town in South Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia. One fun fact about me is that I have a brother who goes to UT and is a senior. Another fun fact is I went to high school in Delaware, even though I live in NJ. I like to hang out with friends, go to the pool or beach, I love to shop as well, and go for walks.  I am excited to take this class, it is different from any other classes I've taken. I did not take any art classes in high school so I think it will be fun. I also think this class could be challenging at times, but a fun type of challenge. I expect to learn how to make things online look more appealing, and learn how to use new software. I am nervous about learning a new software and having to work with it fast, but I think it'll all be good.

 This is a picture of my best friend and I from home. We love going to the beach and being by the water because it is where we have the most fun and best memories. So I made us appear to look like we're sitting on a dock on the water. I added a dolphin in the water to make it more peaceful and relaxing. I also added a sunset and a orange/yellow sun. I also added a plane to just fill some emptiness in the sky.

BW to color

 I chose to try and stick to colors that worked well together. Then I tried to match my outfit together keeping my skin color more muted, as well as my hair. I used a compound color combination, complementary, and square.
