I think the vector image tool might be a little confusing to use at first. I think I would need to use this tool quite a few times to get used to it and to really learn how to do it. I also think the control bar will take a little time to get used to given that it changes every time you click on a different tool. I think the rectangle tool will be fairly easy to use given that it is just various shapes you can choose from and you can either drag or type in the size of the shape that you want. I think the pen tool might be the easiest tool to use because you can really manipulate it to make whatever shape you want or need. I think making it curvy rather than straight might take a little practice though. 




He explained the rectangle tool very well. I also think the star tool will be fairly easy to use because it is very similar to the rectangle tool. I think the curvature tool might be the harder one to learn how to properly manipulate it. I think the brush tool will also be easy but I feel like you have to be more creative to use that one and I am not creative. 




I actually think the pen tool might be harder to use than I think. I feel like you really have to have patients with this tool. I think the drag and drop tool won’t be too difficult to use. All of the other tools are similar to what I said under the other videos. I think over time with practice I could master these tools but it will definitely take time.

My name is Mia Matteo, I am a freshman. I am from a small town in South Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia. One fun fact about me is that I have a brother who goes to UT and is a senior. Another fun fact is I went to high school in Delaware, even though I live in NJ. I like to hang out with friends, go to the pool or beach, I love to shop as well, and go for walks.  I am excited to take this class, it is different from any other classes I've taken. I did not take any art classes in high school so I think it will be fun. I also think this class could be challenging at times, but a fun type of challenge. I expect to learn how to make things online look more appealing, and learn how to use new software. I am nervous about learning a new software and having to work with it fast, but I think it'll all be good.

 This is a picture of my best friend and I from home. We love going to the beach and being by the water because it is where we have the most fun and best memories. So I made us appear to look like we're sitting on a dock on the water. I added a dolphin in the water to make it more peaceful and relaxing. I also added a sunset and a orange/yellow sun. I also added a plane to just fill some emptiness in the sky.

BW to color

 I chose to try and stick to colors that worked well together. Then I tried to match my outfit together keeping my skin color more muted, as well as my hair. I used a compound color combination, complementary, and square.
